Your showreel is all about you and your acting ability. We start with a free consultation so we can both make sure we are a great fit for each other. We will agree on your choice of the scripts, locations, and actors you want to use.
On the shoot day, you will block out and rehearse the scene/s with the Director before we start shooting.
Once we have the footage, an Editor will put it all together and we will send you a link to the edit. This is your chance to make amendments before we create the finished product.
Will I be able to upload it to my website / Spotlight / Mandy profile?
We will encode your showreel using the recommended settings for every site you need to host it on.
Do my scripts have to be original?
Yes. We want our clients' showreels to be unique. We only work with original scripts and we never our use own scripts twice.
Can you help with writing my scripts?
Yes. If you'd prefer, our writing team can pen tailor-made scripts for you. Contact us for more info.
Are you able to provide actors?
If you're unable to source the right actors, we can hire professional actors for you. Contact us for more info.
Are you able to provide locations?
We would recommend basing your scene in a readily available setting like a bedroom, living room, kitchen, car or park. We are happy to help if you need to find somewhere in particular for a certain scene. Please be aware that this can incur an extra cost that we have no control over.
Should I have a montage?
We wouldn't recommend it as there are Casting Directors out there that just don't like them. Your showreel should show your acting and it's tough to do that in a montage. Then again, some Casting Directors don't mind them and if you really want one, we can accommodate it.
Can I use existing footage?
Of course. We can edit your showreel from existing footage only, completely shot from scratch footage or a mixture of the two.
How much will it cost?
This depends on what you need. Check out our prices page for a rough idea of the cost. If you have a request that isn't specified, please get in touch.
How long does it take to film?
We would block out about 3-4 hours per scene to be on the safe side. It usually takes around 2 hours for each scene. It is possible to film 3 scenes in a day but it depends on your flexibility and your locations being close to each other.
How long does it take to edit?
This all depends on the amount of footage you have at the end. We edit, colour grade, and sound mix all new footage. We aim to have a first pass in 2-3 days per scene.
What part of the country do you cover?
We predominantly produce showreels across the West Midlands including Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, and Solihull. We're happy to travel to other UK locations so get in touch to discuss this.
